After rereading the directions that Matt gave us regarding the final assignment, I have opted to write a proposal rather than write a seminar paper since the latter seems a lot more interesting than the former. For my final project, I am considering to make a proposal for a new digital archiving tool to preserve, analyze, and make digital resources accessible.  Even though I don’t have all of the specifics of the project down packed yet, I feel inspired to write a fictional proposal on a digital archiving tool after my tool presentation on Archive-It last month and my blog post about digital materiality last week. I don’t usually tell people this often but I have had a fascination with archives (generally physical) for quite some time now. I’m pretty sure that I will enjoy letting my imagination run wild with the DH Project Proposal.
